"A lot of pros and cons with this place. Very upscale and the room was spacious and modern. The location is excellent. On the other hand, the room design was a bit odd. Bathroom not truly separate from the bed area (sliding thin panels) and there was street noise. A lot of non-guests frequent the hotel so it was busy but not in a good way. Services, like the cafe, were closed during our entire stay of four nights. Weird for a hotel at this price and expected caliber. I liked it okay but my wife...

"While the location is convenient, the cleanliness of our room was appalling. It was extremely dusty—from the bed and shelves to the carpets and upholstery. The furniture was visibly stained, and we even found crumbs from the previous guest on the chairs. Most shockingly, the floor was filthy; it clearly hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned, as it was covered in dust, crumbs, and old coffee stains. This level of neglect is unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. We expected far better standards."

"The standout are the staff and Collins place breakfast. Rooms were loud as you could hear others in their rooms and bathrooms. Very warm room and aircon don’t seem to work. Could hear lifts move up and down despite being a few rooms away. Bed was comfortable."

"The location was excellent. Nice and close to bourke street mall. The hotel room room was a good size, but the bathroom was tight, especially between the toilet and toilet door. Luggage storage was friendly and secure. "

"Our room smelled like cigarette smoke...very disappointing. They offered to move us, but we were unpacked. Housekeeping was not in out room until close to 4 pm the next day. Overall, we expected a bit more. "

"Great overall stay! Did find the bathroom sink far too small though and each time using it would need to mop up the water on the floor. Breakfast was excellent at the Venom Brewery. One suggestion would be to get a professional coffee machine. Found coffee to be sub par for Melbourne standards. Enjoyed tasting some great beers and loved the spicy wings. Will definitely stop in again next time in Melbourne."

"The room class not clean, I found a chewing gum in my bathroom sink, hand marks all over the windows… it was very disappointing. Also, despite saying smart tv, it did not provide that so you could not stream your Netflix etc Most of the light is the living room didn’t work so dinner was supper dark Disappointing for a penthouse and the money paid. "
