"Everyone should visit Manor House and West Bexington. Quiet, personal and good for your soul. The rooms (or the room we had) had a somewhat poorer standard than the common areas. But net and clean and I had the best night sleep at Manor House during my vacation. Staff and locals made you feel at home and cared for at the best way possible. "

"If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it."

"Good location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. "Very friendly, both at check in and at breakfast. As I had a single room, it was lovely to be able to sit for a while in the gardens & residents lounge. Parking on site was a real bonus. The property is in a quiet street and only a 10 minute walk to the sea front"
