"Family feel to this charming old hotel. Built in 1600s. Short walk to the beach. Surrounded by shops and pubs/ restaurants.Large free carpark. Excellent food and lovely staff. We had a large en-suite bedroom which was a little dated but very comfortable bed and very clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits filled up each day. Hidden gem was a swimming pool and jacuzzi which you could hire for an hour just for us. Really enjoyed our 3night stay and would love to go back."

"This hotel is located in an amazing location with Poole Harbour to one side and the sea to the other, both accessible from the hotel. The staff are polite and professional. The housekeeping is impressive. Although the building is looking a little tired, the ambience, staff members and service make up for it. Breakfast is as expected with variety on offer to cater to most dietary requirements. The dining/eating area could be made a little more attractive as the layout seems rather formal....

"The hotel is a grand old place with a rich history connected to it, which the owner is more than happy to share with you. Good sized rooms, communal areas and bar. Free, secure carpark. Location short 5min walk to town. Have been before and will come again for sure 👍"
