"Room was very clean and tidy. More than enough space for the two of us. Tea and coffee making machine in the room, as well as a mini fridge, which was unexpected, but very welcome. A variety of breakfast items are available as well as an option for full english. Hosts Richard and Karen were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again, and would thouroughly recommend staying at The Clarence."

"David and Lorna were lovely. Nice warm welcome and explained what was on offer and asked if there was anything that we needed. They were off on a short family break leaving the In Laws to cover Breakfast etc. Incl checking out and settling the bill 'if this had not already been done with David or Lorna before they had left'. Slight Communication breakdown we felt but overall had a fab stay. Reccommeded by us."

"Everything about this property was lovely, the decor and garden were beautiful, bed comfy and good bathroom. The owners were warm and welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Nice quiet neighbourhood yet only a short drive to beachfront. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Only one slight criticism was the bedroom was very hot. Otherwise perfect. Definitely one to return to. "Had a great one night stay in a small double room. Staff very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Room was not a bad size for a small double, bed was comfortable. En-suite was compact, water pressure not great for the shower. Nice sized wardrobe with hangers and shelves. Breakfast was lovely with both cold options and full English. 10-20 minute walk to beach and main shopping area with plenty of food and drink options on route. Would definitely stay here again"
