"A wonderful stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse. We had a lovely spacious room with comfortable beds and nice extra touches like a packet of sweets for our teenage boys and biscuits for us. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk - what a treat! Mel and Trish could not have made us feel more welcome. Trish cooked a delicious breakfast each morning, and Mel gave us a wealth of tips and suggestions for eating out and places to visit. A first rate stay, highly recommend."

"Had another great stay at The Driftwood. Great location, with on site parking. Help yourself breakfast ,with a variety of breads ,juices ,fruit and cereals .Really welcoming and relaxed makes for a great stay .Will definitely stay again ,and are already planning a next stay. "

"We ordered an executive room and were not disappointed. It was a lovely good size room with a king bed. Everything that was promised was there along with a large bathroom. Everything was spotless, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was way above par. Thanks for a nice few days."

"Rooms a lovely, if a bit warm. Lovely and characterful - which is impressive for a building which is only 10 or so years old. Only slight downside was the food at night. Which was a bit average. But as a hotel, for the price you pay, can’t fault it"

"Arrived after dark, unable to gain acess to property. No security lighting, very limited parking and key broke in lock. On call seemed perturbed that we had called them out. After gaining access eventually found property had not been cleaned, no bedding , clearly untidy and very poor. Basically , inhabitable. Would not recommend this property."
