"My daughter and I needed a place to stay for her in-person registration at Carson-Newman.The Lodge was so close, we could have walked so it was super convenient. We stayed in the Magistrate Room and it was gorgeous. You could tell the renovation was recent because scoring looks brand new. Despite the newness, it still has a lot of charm. They did a great job incorporating original architecture and design with the revitalization of the space. There were so many homey touches that made our...

"We had a wonderful stay! Party of 5 adults and 5 children very comfortable here. The cabin was very well stocked with toiletries and kitchen necessities, including spices and oils. The paddle boards and kayaks were a welcome bonus for my 5 grandkids (from ages 7 - 13). We didn’t even leave the property! The steps to the dock were a little steep for us older folks due to the lake being down but the grandkids managed just fine. Swimming and fishing all day then campfire every evening and lots of...

"This property had everything we needed to feel homey. It was clean and had a few starter items like some toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and soap; but you’ll most likely need more. 102 stairs to the dock, much better than some other properties. The lake was wonderful! The kids ages, 10&11, loved jumping off the dock and kayaking. We enjoyed our stay but as expected it’s a bit far to get to the tourist attractions- 30-45 minutes for most activities."

"Everything was as described in the listing, and communication was excellent. We brought our boat, and I was a bit worried about the water level at the dock due to the drought conditions, but the depth was more than sufficient. I would comment that the shared trail down to the dock was slightly more challenging than I had envisioned, especially with a full-sized truck. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to rent again!"
