"I had an 18-hour layover in Amsterdam and the location of this hotel was perfect for this occasion. "The hotel is nice, the shuttle service is efficient and reliable, twice an hour. The hotel is pretty far from the airport, about a 10 minute drive.
The property is new and well maintained. There was hair in the bathtub and the room had two hairdryers, neither worked and one was sticky and dirty.
When I mentioned this at checkout the desk staff just apologized, they made no note to address the situation.
The restaurant was busy and the food was fair, certainly overpriced.

"A real shame. Not worth the money
We are normally loyal Hilton customers, preferring to stay at their hotels when we travel. We normally stay at hotels 2-3 times per month.
The room rate is £435 per night for a family room, a king size bed and two bunk beds. Location wise it’s perfect - right next to Centraal Station but that’s the best bit of the hotel.
The room was extremely dark with the only windows looking onto an internal atrium. The air conditioning makes a lot of noise but doesn’t...

"The contemporay design did not lend itself to convenience. There wasnt a place for shampoos, conditioners or razors etc. in the shower. The bathroom door was glass so there is no privacy. Because of the door the option of a relaxing bath is out because the light disturbs anyone in bed trying to sleep or rest. Location is close to the airport. It's a pretty good walk to the city trolley. The staff is very helpful and friendly."
