"Lovely comfy bed, lovely staff and food, fantastic location"

"It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process."

"My room was very good the staff make this place Harry the assistant manager was very good the food was good and reasonable had a drink in the bar the atmosphere was very good and the regulars were friendly "

"From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent. The lovely dinners made the stay special. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only negative was that the WiFi in our room was not good and kept dropping off."

"Stayed a couple.of nights in a family room - this had two separate spacious bedrooms, each with their own tea/coffee and TV facilities which was well stocked. Although there wasn't a sea view from our room, the view over swanage and surrounding hills was still lovely and provided some stunning sunsets. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was also well catered, and the beach was a short walk away albeit via a couple of steep routes down the cliff....

"We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."

"Very pleasantly surprised by the well presented hotel, designed to be in keeping with it's original features intact, along with more quirky elements in the decor. The lounge was very comfortable and spacious, and felt like we had stepped back in time to the nineteen twenties. The food was excellent, both as the main meal and the included breakfast, which was a broad menu. "The rooms are large and clean with a very old English look and feel amenities are very close. The beds are very comfortable soft but firm"
