"Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. "We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."

"It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process."

"My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to. The shower was good, the bed very comfy and breakfast across at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. A lovely place to stay."

"Very pleasantly surprised by the well presented hotel, designed to be in keeping with it's original features intact, along with more quirky elements in the decor. The lounge was very comfortable and spacious, and felt like we had stepped back in time to the nineteen twenties.
