Què li ha agradat: Neteja, personal i servei i comoditats
The hotel is an old Georgian building and therefore reflected in the rooms and amenities. Lots of character and charm. However, this means no aircon and old fashioned door locks etc. They provide a fan but our room was still too warm. We stayed in April so the summer months could be tricky.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was well stocked. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and lovely fluffy towels. Lots of tea and coffee. Coffee was high quality bags and not the nasty Nescafé granules you usually get. Lovely biscuits too.
For breakfast I had a chocolate croissant which was great followed by a full English. Unfortunately this was a bit disappointing. Sausage tasted cheap and the bacon was streaky and not back which was quite tough. No black pudding and only one hash brown. Toast was described as whole meal but was just plain brown.
We had lunch sat outside in the sun which was very nice. I can recommend the fish finger sandwich. Beer is excellent and the staff were super helpful and working incredibly hard.
