"The hotel is a lovely old building with a lot of nice features. Our room was on the 2nd floor and fortunately there is a tiny ancient lift that is just big enough for 2 people and a suitcase, the room was 'cosy' but big enough, the ensuite had a good shower with somewhere for your shampoo etc if you didn't want to use theirs, it could have done with a hook nearby for your towel but that's my only minor complaint. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! "Staff went out of their way to provide an excellent service and deal with queries, all of them, and we spoke to about six during our 3 night stay. Wi-Fi was a problem however, partly due to local geography. Would it not be simple just to put in an ID and a password which could be contained in room info? Breakfast was excellent, as was the restaurant but it was a surprise not to have a "help yourself" area with cereal, yoghourt, fruit and juices for those who do not want a cooked breakfast. I...
