"Staff service was excellent. Breakfast buffet and menu was very good. Room size was comfortable. Area around Tavern was lively but the noise was not excessive and did not detract from sleeping. A gem of a place, and we have stayed in many but this was for the type of accomodation one of the best experiences we have had."

"Excellent place to stay at. In fact I was very surprised to see the dog welcome pack in the room and would recommend to anyone with a dog to stay there. Apart from a stain on pillowcase which didn’t bother me too much, the place was very clean and staff very friendly. Much appreciated for the two night stay. "

"Staff were super and the bed and pillows were amazing. Our room had air con, which was turned off when we arrived. It was extremely hot. Full sun had been on the room all day and it was like an oven. We turned the air con on and didn't make much difference. We did not sleep at all well We checked out early at 7.30 am as we we had to look after our grandchildren . We were not able to have breakfast which we had paid for as they didn't start service until 8.30 am All doors were locked...

Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Tea and Expresso, complimentary water and sparkling water."

"Mixed feelings about this stay. Positives: the hotel has good parking, we’re very accommodating of my late arrival, is nicely presented, my room was well appointed, breakfast was very good quality and a nice selection and very nice to offer 4 time slots to choose for your convenience. Negatives: my room was facing the main road which was busy throughout the nice and disturbing despite ear plugs - needs triple glazing installed, room was hot but couldn’t open windows as would have made the road...
