"Great location. Close to hiking and cycling trails in New Forest. Nice pubs nearby (need to drive). Quaint cottage which is well equipped for a small family (we had 2 adults and 2 kids under 16). Parking on prem and a nice little garden outside."

Overall1930s shabby chic vibe is very nice and as expected. Good location in rural residential area10 mins walk to nearest shop and a pub. "We stayed at the stables for one week. The place was very beautiful and had all the facilities we needed, except for a coffee maker. The large kitchen with lots of utensils made it easy to prepare food. One minor detail was the lighting: in the evening, the available lights were quite bright. Smaller, cozier lights could greatly improve the ambiance."
