"Whispering Pines Retreat is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The retreat is clean, spacious, welcoming and quiet, The views of the pine woods are lovely. The kitchen and bathroom are thoughtfully and generously stocked. The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed walking the path and discovering hidden picnic spots. Gail and Andy have created a wonderful retreat."

"Arrived too late to get to the store for groceries. Mark & Paul made sure we had coffee supplies for the morning, and stocked the fridge with necessities. Greeted us upon arrival, had a lovely chat, made us feel right at home. Gracious and considerate hosts. Beautiful property, and exactly what we needed while attending an event in a nearby small town. Would definitely stay again!"

"We had a great time during our stay. The beautifully decorated house feels like a real home and is well maintained. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen. The pool was a big hit, especially for the kids and the lake is only a short drive away for some fun at the beach. Cassandra is a great host and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again."

"We felt like we were home. Loved all the helpful frames information around the home. Very spacious, bright and clean. Communication with our hosts were always prompt. Willing to accommodate any of our needs or wishes. House is located centrally and easy to travel to any of the towns near by. We will definitely be looking toward in rebooking in the future."

"little trouble with communication to check in (part my fault) the basement suite has recently been refinished with new appliances etc. 2 nice large bedrooms. The floor from above is kind of squeaky but the people upstairs where very quiet. Location was great easy walk to downtown theatres Jobsite brewery (great place) overall would stay again. would give it 4 out of 5"

"Our big group of 22 had an amazing time at this property on New Year's Eve! Everything listed in the description was accounted for, the house was clean when we showed up, and there was more than enough room for parking. Sali was also great with communication prior to our arrival and during our stay if we had any questions. The only thing we were unaware of was the house uses well water so there is a bit of a lingering smell. Other than that, this is a great property for a large gathering of...

"This property is as advertised. The host was very communicative when we had some small issues. The accessibility if you have stair issues could be challenging but is great and very secure. Centrally located but in a quiet area. Very little noise. Easy to find."

"Very thankful to this host who was able to get me in early when my accomodations fell though. It is the perfect distance from vic hospital where I was on placement. Lots of space and the kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms are a bit hot on a warm evening but the fan really helped cool it down."

"This location is perfect for any occasion or activities around the downtown. Easy 10 minute walk to Budweiser Gardens or transit access 1 minute away. Many excellent restaurants in the downtown. Location has everything you need, all amenities you need as if you were home."
