"Great quiet place to gather in fall/winter when the weather means you want to spend more time indoors. Very authentic old house but has all the necessary updates. The stairs to bedrooms are extremely steep - I'd be nervous of some kids around them. The host has clearly put a lot of work into it - lots of extra touches to make it homey."

"Firethorn completely met our expectations. It was very spacious and comfortable. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We found access to both the ferry terminal and the airport to be very convenient. Unfortunately, our stay was very brief which meant that we didn't have the opportunity to see or do things in the neighbourhood beyond enjoying a lovely visit with good friends in Sidney."
