"Although our room was spartan in decoration, the staff were exceedingly friendly, kind, and accommodating. I would have liked a bit more storage space and two bottles of water rather than one. The rooms were made up quickly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The bar had a tremendous selection and a knowledgeable bartender. Also, the food was very tasty. The concierge was a miracle worker. I recommend staying at this hotel."

"Excellent hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were very nice size and very comfortable. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant or the breakfast, but the gym was very well appointed. The best part is the awesome location. Just blocks away from Tower of London and right next door to the medieval St. Olaf'a church. Highly recommend getting a tour of that as well.
Free water in the room.
The only thing that would have made it better is if I had a view. But that's pretty...

"Lovely location. Room a bit dated and not always in a charming or characterful way - e.g. brown patterned carpet, likely from the 1980s.
At check out I was asked for a 15 pound a night “tip” or service charges and to cover lobby and door staff! I felt awkward asking for it to be removed from the account, but really at 250+ a night I expect staff to be part of the deal. Is tipping at hotel really to become a normal thing in London?"

Note that if you are arriving by Underground, the District Line Station at Earl's Court is about 15 minutes away. Very good breakfast. I like modern hotels in London at reasonable prices and I would certainly stay here again"

"Very small room, extremely small bathroom.
I requested a change of room because the hotel ventilation was on all night extremely noisy on top of my room.
In the 2nd room you could hear all the noises from outside and adjacent room.
I had to travel/leave a day earlier. They did not accept to provide a credit note since i had paid my stay. Not even exchange the hefty rate for a mere breakfast.
I booked a conference room a day ahead, they changed the price just before my meeting!!! So had to...

If you check in after 3pm there is a chance you will get a room that isn’t like that pictures - when I request to get another room a man was not very helpful or pleasant to speak with but when I went back and spoke to a woman she resolved the issue very quickly and smoothly.
