The only thing I’d like them to improve is the AC which you cannot actually control, and your room can get kinda hot in winter. The staff is super helpful, kind and polite. "

"Location: Fabulous! Love it! About 1-2 mins away from the Kyoto Station so it’s very convenient. Would stay here again for my Kyoto trips. Room: Smallish but had everything I need plus a king sized bed. 2 of the 4 pillows were thin and somewhat hard - difficult to describe. Bathroom: Toilet seat was not heated but everything else was ok. Check in was quick and uncomplicated with the small counter and helpful staff. Check out was a breeze. I simply dropped my keycard to their designated box."

"The room was very clean and more spacious than expected (stayed in the twin room). It’s ideal for sightseeing since they’re located close to JR Kyoto Station and they hold onto your belongings for you before check-in and after check-out! Onsen was not too crowded and is open all night until the following morning. Decent amenities (ie. moisturizer, cleanser, razor, hair band, shower cap). They also have nice freebies like ice cream at night and a probiotic drink in the morning. Amazing breakfast...
