"The property was very close to downtown which was nice made it easy to walk. Very quiet area, rooms are excellent staff is very friendly and helpful. Only problem was desk is only open 8-6 so we had to stand outside and wait as our cruise ship was in very early so no where to leave our luggage."

"We read about the stairs going up to the apartment and planned our luggage accordingly. I can see how some unprepared travelers may find this issue insurmountable as we climbed about 5 sets of stairs. Once inside the main Red Door the vacation will begin. "My wife and I travel often and we have never received a more warm and hospitable welcome than from Neva and her husband. The house is amazing, built in the 1500’s and nicely updated. The location is convenient to explore the area and in a small cute town high on a hill. We made new friends during our visit and it was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend if you are looking for a central home base for a few days and would like to meet some wonderful people."

"When we rented this apartment we were attracted to the location up in one of Trieste's many hills. Having installed ourselves we found a beautiful apartment overlooking the bay of Muggia, clean, sunny, and very spacious for two (although the apartment is intended for at least four). We were told there is a bus right if front of the apartment. What we didn't expect is that this bus took us downtown in ten to fifteen minutes; the same going back!
