"We loved appartment 1 .It had 2 large bedrooms with 3 single beds in each.The kitchen was in the corridor between the bedrooms .Not much room but wasn't a problem as we only used the toaster. No air con which was a bit of a problem as yesterday hit 30 degrees. Lovely large bathroom with bath and shower. The appartments are in a great location on the old town square but the noise may cause some concern with guests. Also one little thing no hairdryer in the room"

"Exceptionally clean, self-catering accommodation. Convenient location close to Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof and Schwebebahn. A range hood over the cooktop would be good - accidentally set off the smoke alarm. I heard another guest managed it as well. No dishwasher or washing machine in room. Guest laundry only had one machine and was never available when needed. Public laundromat nearby was good - cash only. "

"I could live here! We were here for 1 night and then travelled to Frankfurt. We came back to Düsseldorf and decided to reserve for an additional 2 nights due to the cleanliness and communication and value. It is actually an apartment with everything you need. Love it here. Hope to come back some time. "

"Grazie alla gentilezza del titolare Marco Losi siamo riusciti ad arrivare ed entrare con la password creata anche se ormai eravamo in netto ritardo. Poi tutto bene e semplice per i tre giorni successivi dove, in circa 30 minuti, raggiungevamo la Fiera a Dusseldorf."

"My wife and I stayed in Haus am Stadttor for two nights in August 2025. We absolutely loved the place. It is perfectly located and very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a short or long-term stay. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed and enjoyed the quiet, though the house is located a very short walk to the altstadt. Mathias was also very friendly, welcoming, kind, helpful and flexible. He let us check in early and allowed us a late check-out. All-in-all, a great...
