"Excellent house for large groups or multiple families. Kitchen has everything you need. There was 10 of us, two families of 5. We had no problems with power or hot water. Downstairs shower is amazing. Great location, short walk or drive to Eurong shop, bakery etc. Beds are comfortable. No problem contacting owner if you need anything. Lisa will always call you back. Would definitely stay there again. Had an amazing 10 days."

"Is was the perfect setup for the gathering of a few families. We rented both the house and the granny flat. There are lot highlights- the undercover outdoor entertainment area is where we spent most our time. It has a beautiful view over the river just below it and across to the forest on the other side. "We’ve had a great stay, if only for 1 night. Wish we had stayed longer. Excellent natural looking pool the kids loved while we could watch them from a very large undercover entertaining area. Overall very comfortable and well equipped home. Although within a suburb the location is very central and only few minutes drive to shops and Palm Cove. Thank you to the hosts, who were flexible and accommodating with our requests, and excellent communicators. "

"Fabulous for a relaxing weekend away, felt like home away from home. Only thing that didn’t quite go well was the weather, it was a bit humid with no breeze, and there are no fans or aircon. Generally though the weather up there is quite cool, so wouldn’t always be an issue. "

"Our stay at The Haven was exactly what we were wanting. The house was well layed out and maintained and we felt welcomed and relaxed as soon as we entered. Lots of windows which made the house feel open and was lovely being surrounded by trees. The onsite pool and games room was a hit. Definitely be back."
