Michael, the caretaker, met us at no one is how are you gonna get in? check-in and the owners ensured we were happy with our stay. Everything was thought out and you had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and we had many early bird visitors that were a treat to watch. "The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Very clean and comfortable house surrounded by the forest. Kitchen is fully equipped. The dirt path towards the house needs work otherwise your car could get stuck. definitely need a 4 wheeler vehicle. We saw monkeys and toucans in the morning. Very calm and quiet stay it was. "The Casita was just as advertised. Small but didn't feel small. We were nervous about the size before moving in but it felt the right size and we didn't feel crowded or closed in. It had everything that we needed and expected. The view was great and the location was fine. We had a car so getting to groceries etc. was not a problem. Barbara and Lawrence were great hosts. We really enjoyed Lawrence's band practices. All in all a great stay."

"Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property - around 5 p.m., it was to discover that, in spite of our reservation, there were no rooms available. The manager/owner was very apologetic for the mix-up and made several calls to secure alternate accomodation for us. However, that was more expensive and we needed to move from one place to another to cover our 4 day stay with 2 nights in each place. It was pretty disappointing!"

También, la habitación se sitúa al lado del supermercado la Estrella, entonces se oye todo hasta que cierra. Y por la noche, la lluvia hacía un ruido horrible en el techo. En otros lugares del país, se pueden encontrar habitaciones de mucha mejor calidad por un precio más barato. "

"We went for my wife's 40th birthday with multiple families with kids. It was a perfect venue and stay that was closer to the Liberia airport vs Fortuna. We had Tucans on the property, parrots, and plenty of beautiful birds. There is enough distance from each of the villas that gave you some privacy, but close enough to also feel together easily. One issue you can run into in being in the jungle is bugs, but there were no mosquitos or any issues at all staying here, definitely nothing in the...

"CRParaiso is a gem for nature lovers. The property contains several trails, ponds, groves, while offering a mature forest and open areas. It is full of birds and lends itself to their observation by the most passionate enthusiasts. The main house offers all the comfort and respite desired. Bret is easily reachable and always willing to answer questions and provide sound advice. Not to be missed if you go to the very beautiful region of Nuevo Arenal."
