"This is a beautiful property with impeccable service and amazing views of the volcano. Our family suite was very large with an instagram worthy view of the volcano from our balcony. The grounds are beautiful- the trees, flowers, water features, just gorgeous. A good sized pool and several hot springs are part of the property. The breakfast buffet was great- lots of choice with polished service. This is definitely one of the more beautiful upscale properties in La Fortuna. We had several tours...

"This is a unique hotel that gives you the impression of living right in the middle of the jungle. The staff was wonderful and having Bobby, the owner's very sweet dogs great you and escort you to your unit is such a treat. The place is at the outskirts of Santa Elena, so very quiet but within walking distance of the town center. The units are modern, clean, well maintained and give you a cozy cabin-feeling. "

The staff keeps a menu of options for adventures, and ours was top notch. The breakfast of fruit, eggs, and mushrooms was delicious, and coffee was available for free all morning."

"We had such a great experience at Eco Arenal. We stayed for 5 nights as a family with three kids and it was perfect. The room was very clean, shower was very modern, beds were comfortable, and we never got tired of the many options available at the daily breakfast. The hotel is an oasis, just close enough to bustle of La Fortuna and all the activities but remote enough where you wake up to the sounds of the monkeys and can see plethora of birds flying around."

"Wonderful place to stay. Quiet and with an amazing pool/hot tub and long gorgeous views of the lake and volcano. It is a about 30 minutes from Fortuna so you will do a lot of driving."

"Typical breakfast plus a variety of fruit, coffee, and juice. The view from the dining area was gorgeous. Robert and the desk staff were so kind and welcoming. The hotel was easy to find and they helped us set up an amazing horseback riding tour. Dinner had many super delicious options."

The pool is cold but it is great to lounge by it after a day of hiking. Breakfast was simple but filling. This property is a hidden gem and a grear value for money."
