"We were so lucky to find Sound Serenity when our previously scheduled home was canceled a week & a half before our trip. Even though we weren’t right on the beach, the home was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach for sunrise and 5 minute walk to the sound for sunset. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. "Great location in South Nags Head, with a quick walk to the beach, easy access to the pier and Oregon Inlet. At the time of our stay, the owner has provided a great deal of extras for guests to enjoy from beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, etc. My family was able to book a short, partial week stay as we awaited opening of Hatteras Island following hurricane Erin. Great spot to enjoy the beach in the OBX. "

"Beautifully furnished immaculate home with easy beach access. Centrally located near stores and restaurants. Loved the decks and deck furniture - fun evening on the deck feeling like we were “ in the trees.” A lot of love went into this place. Lots of nice “extras”: a keurig with coffee pods, tea bags and tea kettle, books and games , beach towels to name a few. Although there is no beach view, you still feel like you are on the beach. Highly recommended!"

"Overall the property was very clean. We were able to easily walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and grocery store, which made the location ideal. We really appreciated the beach gear and used it daily. As the description mentions, the rooms are very small with no closets. We used one of the bedrooms to store clothing/luggage. We spent most of our time outdoors so space was only in issue at night. "
