  • Oceanfront double deck home with unbeatable views of the Atlantic Ocean! Come enjoy some sun, soak in the hot tub, relax on the shaded deck, and enjoy the Outer Banks! You will have the entire home to yourself! We provide linens and towels, so no extra fees like you will see with the big property management companies. If you need anything during your stay we are happy to help. We have wifi and Roku TV, no cable. Our hot tub is cleaned twice a week- we cannot guarantee which days they come as it is a rotating schedule.

Great location, loved being on the beach. House in desperate need of upkeep. Most important lots of steps, we are in our 70’s, we had no problem doing steps, it was just getting our luggage and food up all the steps!! Either only pack really light weight bags or get place fewer steps. The view was amazing, sunrises were spectacular, but as expected being on the ocean in salt water everything in rough shape. Easy dealing with and being able to contact host, responded quickly. Loved the area…

We enjoyed our stay. This is a nice oceanfront beach house with a great view of the ocean. James was a great host.

James responds to your questions in minutes. The kitchen is stocked and the house had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. Very bright living space and great outdoor space as well!

Perfect place to rest ❤️

We all loved this home as soon as we got there ! It was peaceful, spacious, beds were comfy, the house was stocked with everything we needed and the path to the beach was an easy walk…we even had deer visiting in the brush behind the house each day : )

Relaxing - Quiet

A clean, big house with beautiful views and sounds of the ocean. Get up early to see the sunrises and stay up late to view the stars from the hot tub. Big bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, lots of games and books available. Thanks for a great stay

The hot-tub was horrifyingly dirty. Upon arrival we found it with brown green water that smelled like rotting feet. For anyone looking at this listing you will see that the hot tub is an essential part of the property and heavily advertised. When going to the outer banks, this feature is essential when the ocean is often cold and rough. Finding the hot tub in this condition was devastating to me and my family and no one had any interest in getting in it even after it was cleaned. Although the property owner had a cleaner come out the following morning, and they did a thorough job, the experience was lost. The cleaner themselves were stunned by how bad it was and said we had “every right to be pissed” Where it gets worse is that the property owner only offered a 190 refund for this situation and then retracted that offer after I contacted VRBO with a complaint. Not only did we loose the experience but I got drug through a multi-week communication about this. What was supposed to be a vacation turned into pure stress. Beyond all of this, my daughters found a half burnt cigar but on the porch, drink and food trash that had been thrown off the balcony into the bushes, an entrance through the bushes to go to the beach that you had to bend over to four feet to go through, the property was listed as no pets on VRBO but there were dog bowls, pet welcome signs and pet fur on the furniture. We were fooled by the shiny photos of this property and regret staying here.

Overall we had a great stay. The house is older and has weathered some storms but is fairly nice and served us well. Be prepared for lots of steps, which I'm sure is the case in any large beach house. We had 2 toddlers under 2 so it was a challenge to keep them off the steps. The gate from the top deck to the outside stairs desperately need to be replaced and some of the older deck furniture needs to be replaced but overall things were in pretty good shape. The hot tub didn't get very hot and the jets were a little weak. The housekeeping was a little subpar but my wife was a housekeeper, so she is particular about that. There were 10 of us this trip and we had plenty of room and were relatively comfortable. The beds were comfortable and most of the furniture seemed in pretty good shape. The water pressure in the showers seemed a little weak but otherwise the bathrooms were adequate. It is a bit of a trek to the beach, especially when you are hauling a bunch of stuff, but the beach was great. They do provide a 2 wheel cart to help haul stuff which was a great help. There was an outdoor shower which was nice, but would have been nice to have a foot washing station. The house has seen some use but overall served us well and we had a great time.

Amazing views

We went with all our three kids in their teens/twenties and wanted something quiet and easy—this was perfect. House was comfy, well set up for our group, and the beach is right there. Sitting on the deck with coffee, watching the sun rise over the dunes and the Atlantic, was rejuvenating. We had no problems and could easily reach James if needed.

Location, location, location!!!!

Beautiful home, amazing location!!! From watching the sunrise, to seeing dolphins swimming and counting the stars every night - this was truly an unforgettable trip for my husband and two children. James was a great host! We have nothing but great things to say about this wonderful home:)

Beautiful views

This home is oceanfront with amazing views! Several balconies and places to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. The bedrooms were large, all had tvs and very private. We loved the living areas with very comfortable seating.. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Great experience for our first Vrbo rental.
