"A lovely friendly and welcoming place. Our room had a great fresh and clean smell as we entered and when I requested extra little milk cartons I was asked if I preferred fresh milk - oh yes. The beds were very comfy. Just what we needed. A table was reserved for our evening meal and it didn't disappoint. I hadn't expected the possibility of a roast Sunday dinner on the evening, and it was amazing, delicious and I didn't leave a scrap. My hubby was just as thrilled with his steak and ale pie....

"We had a really excellent 5 day stay. Our room (3) was huge with 2 kingsize beds and a large sofa. Bathroom was also a good size. The breakfast was good with excellent friendly, prompt service. A really good location for visiting the area and not too busy. Parking was never a problem. It would have been useful to have some plug-in bed side lights rather than battery operated nightlights. We were staying in the Family Room, but were not advised when booking that on our second night immediately below that room would be a rock band, performing until 10:30pm. Immediately below the Family Room!?!?!? The floor was literally shaking, which left us with 3 distressed children. A really appalling situation.
