Enjoy staying in this luxury Penthouse Apartment, situated in the heart of Menaggio\'s main Piazza, enjoying close proximity to the beautiful lake and romantic Promenade, just 20m away!

The stylish this apartment is set on the two upper floors of a newly renovated building in Piazza Garibaldi, which can be reached either by the stone steps or by Lift.

The first floor comprises a spacious and modern L-Shaped Open Plan Living space, with the stylish Living area to the front of the property, offering very comfortable seating, Sat TV and two beautiful and ornate Balconies; boasting direct views over the buzzing Piazza and the beautiful Lake Como. The property also has WIFI internet.

A fully-fitted Contemporary Kitchen provides you with all the necessary appliances for a self-catering holiday. The Dining area easily seats up to a party of six, and is situated to the back of the property in the spacious Kitchen and Dining area.

Also on this floor you will find a Double Bedroom and modern Showerroom leading from the hallway, which is perfect for additional guests or family members staying

Wooden stairs lead you to the upper Penthouse floor, which comprises a Master Bedroom suite boasting character beamed ceiling, walk in wardrobe and a sunny Roof Terrace with direct views over the Piazza, Mountains and Lake.

A third Double Bedroom with wardrobe and beamed ceiling is also provided on this floor, as well as a second newly fitted Bathroom.

There is much to explore in the charming Lakeside town of Menaggio and its many local amenities and attractions are very conveniently placed just on the doorstop!

Boutique shops blend with historical churches, Italian architecture and bustling Cafes; which line the beautiful shopping parade leading off from the Piazza and the characterful cobbled back alleys, which await your exploration.

The Public Lido Beach and Swimming Pool, Children\'s Park, Mini golf are all just a minute\'s walk away also. Conveniently the Bus and Taxi service runs from the main Piazza, and the fast and convenient Menaggio car and pasenger Ferry is just a 3 minutes walk away.

For keen Golfers the world famous Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Course is just a 5 minutes drive away. The elevated position of this prestigious course offers splendid views in all directions, providing for a very memorable game.

Hiring a car is not necessary due to the central location of the property, but if you do have one here there are many public parking spaces all around the centre.

We would like to advise our guests that the elevator can fit a maximum of 2-3 persons, and that there are seven steps up to it.

PLEASE NOTE: In the months of July & August, there minimum stay is of 7 nights from SATURDAY to SATURDAY only.

Great apartment in a great location

The property was great. Lots of space and the balconies were awesome to sit on. A few basics in the kitchen like salt and pepper would have been nice.

Apartment was as advertised. Just an FYI, the stairs to get to the upstairs bedrooms are very steep. Very nice apartment. Would stay there again if we go back.

great location but needs some help

it was plenty of room for the 6 of us but the supplies limited and no coffee and i wasnt gonna buy it for 2 days, it would have been nice to have along with paper towels and tissue. had to keep trash in apartment till we left and since we did takeout there was alot. the wash machine leaked so we couldnt do but 1 load and the dryer must be clogged because it got so hot inside cuz moisture could not escape and the dryer stopped working at one point. But the location was great and easy to get to ferry for other towns.

Excellent Property

We had a great stay in Menaggio. I was there with my wife, my two teenage sons and my mother in law. The space worked great for all of us. The location is perfect. Right in the Menaggio town square. There was live music on Thursday night in the square, which was loud, but ended up being very nice. They didn’t go late, so it didn’t affect us negatively. Location is walking distance to the ferry so we could explore other locations. Lots of restaurants and shopping very close. Would stay here again, but longer next time.

Fantastic location / beautiful views

You will get what you pay for with the wonderful location, but I would say it was far from luxury. The furniture was IKEA. The master bedroom had paper taped onto the windows. The kitchen sink didn’t work (and when I communicated this to the management company they tried to pass me off to someone else so we left it as is and hope they have fixed it since). This all being said, the location is wonderful. Close to everything in Menaggio and a short walk to the ferry to Varenna and Bellagio. If you are looking for a luxurious stay, this isn’t it, but it is convenient.

This is a great lace to stay, lots of locations and restaurants all near by, parking is simple and free from 8pm, till 8 am.

Great location

Great apartment for a group. Five of us fit comfortably in the house using all three bedrooms. It was an easy process to pick up the keys at the property management office and a short walk to the apartment. The property manager was very helpful in giving local information about the ferry, grocery store, etc. Would highly recommend the property.

Fantastico Menaggio is not so Fantastico!

The pictures are very inaccurate and make the place look a lot bigger than it is. No parking and bag drop was an issue, parking instructions were confusing. Staff were not helpful, we had several issues with the kitchen sink, TV and beds, they sent someone out and he was impolite, rude. No dish towels or paper towels in the kitchen, showers are mediocre at best. Beds are so old that the sink on the middle. Kitvhen sink tap is not working properly and you almost have to break it trying to get it to work, we could not get it working, some poor guest will break it trying to open it and get stuck with the bill to replace. Key drop off was also an issue as we were told drop at office, but the office was closed. I would not recommend staying here

Location Fantastico but yup, needs work

Location is beyond compare! So charming, peaceful and relaxing especially being at the center of the quaint town plaza.Use the Trenord Rail train from Milan to the S.Guiovanni IF you want to take the bus to Menaggio. Train/bus station are the same building and you can get bus tickets in the little shop.One of us came a day later and went on Trenitalia to the other station which is not near buses- ended up lost in Como and had to call a cab to get to Menaggio.You don't need a car. Grocery is an easy walk and lots of restaurant choices nearby. Favorite was the Ristorante Del Porto - every first bite started with "wow" and have local fish which they did expertly. Short walk to the ferry station for easy exploring of the nearby towns - all delightful. The apartment location was amazing, and the views unbelievable. Very spacious and nice updates in the bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and had a thoughtful welcome package with wine when we arrived! Need to be honest about the cleanliness, which others mentioned.Figured it would be cleaned by now but nope- still has red something splashed on the bathroom curtains, gross layer of greasy dust on window coverings, spider webs in beams, light fixtures with broken or missing covers, and the deck chairs covered with dirt.Some appliances barely worked. Not fantastico. Requested late checkout (10 is EARLY) as per policy well ahead and they were unwilling to work with us. Lack of customer service/cleanliness disappointing.

This place needs some work.

The four of us have rented mini VRBO‘s and this is our first disappointment ever. We walked into the downstairs bathroom and there was a filthy rag on the shelf in one bedroom the curtains were blood spattered and there seem to be blood on one of the door facing us. It begin to rain at which point the ceiling leaked and we could hear the trip of the water all night. We would have overlooked all of this except we could get no response from management. There was an emergency number to call because we were a bit nervous about the leaking ceiling and they didn’t get back with us until the next day and then didn’t do anything about it. This is a property in a perfect setting that could be really nice but the owner needs to pay some attention to detail. We think the problem is that the management company doesn’t care at all.

Beautiful Menaggio

Great stop and a beautiful apartment. The process of getting from the train to the unit was not clearly laid out. I recoomend getting ferry boat to Menaggio. You can book the slow ferry on line. It's takes about 2 1/2 hours to get there from Como. But it is a beautiful trip. You can buy tickets for the fast Ferry(45minutes) but you can only buy them at the Ferry office at the dock on the day of use.. Long line and may not be avilable. The bus is an option but good luck on trying to understand that process. I loved the apartment and the area and it was worth all the confusion getting there. Thanks Woody

Incredible Location!

We absolutely loved staying at Menaggio Fantastico! The location could not be more perfect, and the apartment has everything you need. My family of five had plenty of space, and we were so happy to be able to unwind “at home,” yet still overlook the happenings in the town center. We absolutely would stay here again!

We booked “Menaggio Fantastico” for a full month mid June to mid July. Wow what a perfectly wonderful location and apartment! We didn’t rent a car because the ferries and the bus took us anywhere we wanted to go. We had a wonderful time! All positives, no negatives!

Such a perfect location

An amazing apartment in the perfect location overlooking the lake and the square. We spent many hours on the balcony people/boat watching. The management staff were very helpful and it was all easy. he property was fully equipped with everything you could need. Highly recommended.

Tolle Wohnung in bester Lage

Wir mussten wegen technischer Probleme mit Strom und Gas bereits 4 Tage früher abreisen als geplant. Dennoch haben wir entschieden 5* Sterne zu vergeben. Warum? Die Lage der Wohnung ist absolut zentral. Vom Balkon aus konnten wir dem Pianisten auf dem Marktplatz lauschen. Wie ein Privatkonzert. Trotz 30 Grad war die Wohnung immer angenehm temperiert und das ohne Klimaanlage. Es war sehr sauber und es fehlte in der Ausstattung an nichts. Als die technischen Probleme auftraten war die Agentur immer erreichbar, freundlich und kümmerte sich umgehend um eine Lösung. Leider war das Problem nicht so schnell zu beheben. So etwas kann aber immer und überall passieren. Die Rückzahlung war schon auf unserem Konto bevor wir wieder daheim waren. Besser geht es nicht! Wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen.

Really fantastic location, incredibly helpful and responsive management staff.

We had a beautiful week on the lake staying here. We had car service to and from airport and otherwise there was no need for a car. Menaggio is a perfect location to access other towns around the lake by ferry. We made several day trips including StMoritz which the office staff helped organize. They were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. Menaggio is truly fantastico!
