"Property pictured is not where we stayed. We reserved a 1bdrm with living area as per the pictures and stayed in a very dated small camping type cabin. Property owner is EXTREMELY deceptive with the pictures! Property is run down, no outside lighting at night, poor signage, broken glass outside the cottage, the driveway was one huge pot hole. Cabin had one small trash can in the bathroom. The lock to the cabin didnt work. Door had gapping holes in the door. Property is located on an extremely...

"Thank you! The location is very convenient - between tourist information center and Bar Harbour downtown. It's clean, close to roads, but you are in the woods at the same time. Very quiet. The host is polite, friendly and efficient."

"Had a wonderful weekend staying here. The room was extremely clean and had a private balcony/sitting area. Location was not far from the center of town and the path to Marginal Way was across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I would stay here again."

"The property host was difficult to communicate with from the beginning and throughout our stay. The property listing stated a 2pm check-in. We arrived around 5pm and our rental had not been cleaned. The property owner could not commit to when the property would be cleaned and ready for us. Most frustrating was the lack of acknowledgement about the inconvenience or apology for the circumstances. Additionally, laundry is listed as an amenity. The host appeared to be frustrated when I inquired...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was a perfect location for our needs during this visit. While we did not end up bring our pets, the owner was open to it and provided essentials such as pet bowls. The cottage was cozy but well appointed. The kitchen had more than adequate dishes and utensils as well as a small selection of spices, storage bags/containers, etc. The bathroom was outfitted with essentials and the inclusion of laundry was well appreciated and not typical for the size of the...

"It was very clean and it’s pet friendly. The host went above and beyond and was truly friendly while doing so. A great location and quiet at this time of year. The bed was very comfortable. The shower nice and hot. I would rent that seaside shanty again. "

"The views were amazing from every level and the whole scenery was nothing short of spectacular.This camp was not only wonderful for me to rest, study, and soak in the lake and woods, but it also had all the gear for serious kayaking adventures if I wanted to.The stay was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating.
