"Property is ideally located for easy commute to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Overall the room was clean. It is in need of updates, kitchen appliances clean but rusted. Main bedroom mattress was old spring loaded and uncomfortable. However, our daughter said the pull out sofa was comfortable. Housekeeping service not provided, even though a tip envelope was left in the room. Also, there was a constant sewage smell outside, that would blow in through when AC was running....

"This cabin had everything we needed for a one-night pit stop up to Bar Harbor. We especially liked the rural location, the tea kettle, and stove for heat. We were able to sign into our Netflix and watch a thriller on a dark, rainy night, gathered in the living room area. We did not like that there were several large flies inside of the cabin. We killed a few that were bothering us, but even after that my nephew made a cup of tea at night and one of the flies flew into his tea cup!"

"Cute cottage and fit our needs perfectly. We had a bed for everyone and plenty of towels. The coffee pods were a bonus!"

"Had a wonderful weekend staying here. The room was extremely clean and had a private balcony/sitting area. Location was not far from the center of town and the path to Marginal Way was across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I would stay here again."

"The cottage was perfect for our needs. Our son LOVED the grand piano. We enjoyed the newspaper clipping showing the history of the place and all the interesting books. We also appreciate being able to hike nearby. Maine is so beautiful."
