"This cottage is ground level with an adorable nautical themed appearance. The property host was first rate. Cottage is situated on a quiet dead-end street with parking out front. There is almost no traffic on the street but it connects to a through highway with easy access to nearby services. Old Orchard Beach is nearby with scenic ocean views. "We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! It was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Having Branch Lake a few steps from the house was amazing. We swam and canoed several days and explored Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Of course, we couldn’t miss the popovers at the Jordan Pond House. We loved the cottage (as well as Maggie from next door) and hope to return. "

Close to everything you might want to do for hiking and excursions but once you're sitting on the deck at the lake you really feel like you've "gotten away". "Wonderful little cottage on the shore of a pond near Acadia National Park.The cottage is well equipped with everything necessary for short stays and it is very cozy and comfortable, up to 5 people. Furnitures are not new, but everything works and gives the feeling of being out in the Woods. The location is amazing and it allows to great dawns and sunsets on the pond.Ideal for lazy days, we would absolutely recommend it. "
