"My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary trip to Acadia and we absolutely loved it. The cottage as very clean and so cozy, I wish we could have stayed longer. The location is close to Bangor so there’s a lot of bars/restaurants and shops downtown. It’s a bit of a drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor (a little over an hour), but so worth it for the adorable cottage and the great price. We will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip up."

"Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before...
