"Our little cottage (#5) was sufficient for our two day stay. It was a bright and airy room with hints of coastal shabby chic decor. The kitchenette was ideal for our needs, thus allowing to cook/store our meals (one on keto with the other being a vegetarian). The property grounds had a rustic charm and we really appreciated the fire pit, although struggled to start a fire (wood provided was a bit damp but we gave it a good college try, multiple times). "When we arrived at Camp Tinker, we immediately noticed the pleasant and welcoming smell. Everything was very clean and the place was stocked with everything we would need for our stay. In addition to having laundry pods stocked, they also had dishwasher pods, and all the necessary cookware if we chose to cook. "This was hands down the best little house, I’ve ever stayed at, the hosts were so welcoming and kind. The outdoor patio area, bonfire pit, and trails to walk were amazing. I had everything I could have needed and more. The grill was perfect for cooking on. It’s peaceful, quiet, and beautiful with the woods all around. There are even wildlife like bears, fox, and moose in the surrounding woods. The bed was so comfortable, we slept like a baby. I would highly recommend staying here!!"

"Th property host is excellent at sending communication and responding back to you. Super clean property. Cost is very reasonable. You can easily drive to several locations in the Islands in Maine. Bucksport is only 15 mins in the opposite direction where you can get food, groceries, there is a CVS pharmacy should you need it and if your kids really want McDonalds that is there as well.
