Easy launching from their dock and a dedicated float that allows easy in and out. Shannon and Gil are great hosts; they arranged lobster from son’s catch one day and cooked it for us! "It is a very confortable hotel with very nice and spacious room with view tothe harbour. It is very convenient for families sice there are swimmingpool and two playgrounds. The only disappointment was the breakfast: nothing was fresh made but everything in packages. By the way, we spent two pleasant days in the hotel."

"This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive. Customer service and communication was top notch and exceeded all expectations. "

We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay.
