"Lovely place with an INCREDIBLE view. Having a kitchen was very nice to make our own breakfast. The mattresses could use updating and made for some uncomfortable nights, but overall we enjoyed the property. As previous reviewers have stated it IS a not insignificant walk to/from the property from Wengen town center. We thought the place lacked some basic amenities we typically see (e.g. there was a washer but no detergent. Some napkins, etc.). "The property is really nice and it is very spacious for the town it's located in. Comparable hotel rooms are much smaller. The maintenance support was great. We had no hot water for a few hours and when notified, the maintenance crew showed up immediately to fix the issue. The instructions could have been better though. The trash cans are locked and need a key. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lauterbrunnen and our stay at Chalet Edelweiss. We were able to walk to a wonderful restaurant for dinner and the bus stop was right outside our door which made getting to our day’s excursions very easy. The home had everything we needed and even though there was only one bathroom it worked well for our group of 4 women. I highly recommended Chalet Edelweiss if you are planning a holiday in or around Lauterbrunnen."

"The property was very well appointed with very comfortable beds, living space and kitchen. So many appliances including raclette grill and fondue pot and many spices and essentials. Most impressive was the views. Many balconies where you can sit and enjoy a view of the mountains. A little more guidance when staying - pay the tax at the sports complex on arrival to get a gold card that gives access to the community pool and discounts at attractions. "Great location just a few minute walk from train station and town. Perfect setup for four adults. If you have mobility issues the inside stairwell down to the bedrooms and bathrooms has no handrail and is steep. One bedroom upstairs but no bathroom on that level."

"We enjoyed our stay in Lauterbrunnen. While the town itself was very busy the central location of Lauterbrunnen allowed us to quickly escape the hustle and bustle and explore the surrounding mountains. The home had everything we needed. For us as international travellers it would have been helpful to have some instructions on the laundry machines and oven, as the symbols were different. All in all a wonderful stay. "

"We loved the view! Access between the unit and Wengen was easy via the free van service during their service hours. Outside of the service hours (after 20:00 and before 08:00) it can get pricey paying for a taxi. The walk is nice but there is no sidewalk so it can be dangerous. The loft is accessible by a steep ladder and the ceiling is not standing height. The beds were super comfortable. We had a wonderful stay! The area is just spectacular for hiking and exploring."
