"Being on my own with the dog, i was a little apprehensive. Absolutle no need. Booking in was easy. I was informed ofthe dog friendly places to eat. I was wvenoffered cutlery uf u wanted to order in. Breakfast was delivered to the room which is what they do for everyone. Was fresh and spot on poached eggs. Deffo recommend. Budget but good"

"We booked online last minute called up to say we would arrive in 30 minutes, the staff was very eel and helpful. We was shown to our room then went down for an evening meal, the food was excellent and we was made to feel as part of the family, it is a lovely warm feel place with lovely people and the rooms was amazing the bed was so comfortable. "Wakker worden met uitzicht op bos. wayne is een super vriendelijke host. Hij beantwoord vragen direct, heeft leuke tips en advies voor trips in omgeving. Ideale tussenstop als je de NC500 rijdt. Only slight issue was layout of the bedroom; sloping roof and wall lights made it more awkward to get past bed to get to bathroom during the night. Food was amazing particularly the seafood platter. "Had an issue gaining access as even the owner was locked out at the time we arrived. Was one of those situations where you just need to roll with it. The owner was incredibly apologetic and provided a free bottle of wine as an apology which I found a lovely gesture. The location itself is on a main road, but this is relatively quiet overnight and there is free parking at the rear of the building. "The gentleman that checked us in was great. He was very helpful with questions we had about the area, made sure we had our ferry tickets and assisted with the dinner service.
