"Richard & Jane run a great place. They are warm & friendly, breakfasts are incredible (especially the coffee!), & the rooms are spacious & comfortable. We liked that they used local items to decorate. That adds a lot of character & charm! "

"This place is simply fantastic. Kacey is a brilliant hostess. Prior to arrival, she sent lots of information through which was excellent. Then during the stay, she was on hand via WhatsApp and replied any questions in a heartbeat. Her cooking is absolutely second to none so you’re in for a treat if you book here. If we come back up to the Highlands, we will definitely be returning "

"Andrea was an excellent host, the pod was clean and well stocked with everything you could need to make your own meals. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long drive. Highly recommended! "

"Friendly and helpful host. Comfortable accommodation. Fully equipped lodge with everything we need in our stay, if we knew that the kitchen is well equipped we should make our own dinner. "

"A lovely warm welcome, beautiful decorated room, the most comfy bed of our whole trip, a stunning guest house with a lounge and a snug. Host was so accommodating for breakfast, we requested 7:30 as we had a ferry to catch, this was not a problem, porridge was made to order and delicious, continental selection was varied with plenty of options for every one. It was a shame we only stayed for one night."

"A good, well-run hotel. No criticisms. Also, we had a slight problem with a noisy resident in the next room to us. I contacted the night porter who quickly sorted things out, calmly, politely and effectively. The restaurant is exceptionally good - way above the general standard of freezer to microwave meals you encounter so often."

"I liked the decor of the room, the price was right for a single-bed room."

"Lovely place to stay. Everyone in the Castletown team could not do enough for us, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Our second stay, and will stay there again."

"We stayed at the Bank Guest House for one night on our road trip of Scotland. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was and how large the bedroom was. The owner was extremely friendly and cooked a lovely breakfast for us in the morning! Wick itself is a little run down with not much to do, but for a one night stop off I would thoroughly recommend staying at this B&B."

"A house to yourself on the harbour. Simple arrival email giving details of code and keys. Was great to have a whole house to ourselves after 5 weeks of room only. "

"Being on my own with the dog, i was a little apprehensive. Absolutle no need. Booking in was easy. I was informed ofthe dog friendly places to eat. I was wvenoffered cutlery uf u wanted to order in. Breakfast was delivered to the room which is what they do for everyone. Was fresh and spot on poached eggs. Deffo recommend. Budget but good"

"Got here late but the porter sorted my room out very quickly in a friendly and efficient manner. I arrived at the hotel just after midnight so never got to enjoy the dining experience…. At least not until breakfast!"
