"This was just an overnight after driving up from Dornoch and getting on the ferry to Orkney at Gills Bay the next morning. However Eilean and Graeme greeted us in the parking area and helped us move into our room. Provided us with lots of info on their property and where to eat. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning had lots of variety and our choices were delicious. "

"If you are looking for a B & B on the north coast of Scotland this is it! We don't give out 5 star reviews lightly, and this accommodation definitely deserves it. And the food was fabulous - they could have opened a restaurant instead of a B & B. Don't go out to dinner if you are staying here, order from their menu. Kacey & Stephen are wonderful hosts and could not have been more attentive."

"Wakker worden met uitzicht op bos. wayne is een super vriendelijke host. Hij beantwoord vragen direct, heeft leuke tips en advies voor trips in omgeving. Ideale tussenstop als je de NC500 rijdt. Maar eigenlijk jammer dat we niet langer dan 1 nacht konden blijven. Bedden lagen heerlijk, fijn beddengoed, textiel etc. Het is ontzettend schoon. We verbeleven hier met 3 personen. Only slight issue was layout of the bedroom; sloping roof and wall lights made it more awkward to get past bed to get to bathroom during the night. Food was amazing particularly the seafood platter. "The gentleman that checked us in was great. He was very helpful with questions we had about the area, made sure we had our ferry tickets and assisted with the dinner service. The young gentlemen who assisted at dinner were very polite and knowledgeable about the menu. One thing that we would have liked was wash clothes. We would recommend staying here."

"Had an issue gaining access as even the owner was locked out at the time we arrived. Was one of those situations where you just need to roll with it. The owner was incredibly apologetic and provided a free bottle of wine as an apology which I found a lovely gesture.
