"The e-mail for check in had not been received on the Hotels.com chat by 2pm, so i messaged and it did come through asap then.
On arrival it was easy to find the key box and gain entrance. The stairs in hallway were a bit rough and the carpet is a bit loose and dirty/worn in patches.
The door to our room was not very secure and a firm push would open the door without need for a key. There is no deadbolt of chain/lock inside to secure yourself in.
The apartment is tired and could do with a layer...

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to assist. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax. "The location is fantastic. We walked to The Underground in seven minutes. Our view of Tower Bridge was legendary. We did have a bathtub and we were happy about that. Our twin beds were both very comfortable. TV and WiFi worked well. It was quiet. We had a little space heater in our room and that worked well and kept us very warm. "We had a deluxe room overlooking the street. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom functioned well but ideally would have been a little larger. "The rooms were very large for Europe and had all the necessary amenities including a Nespresso machine. The only complaint we had was the card system and door locks. We struggled (as did all guests) to get in and out of the hall to the exit. Also the room keys all stopped working the second day for the whole building. Some upgrades are needed in those areas. Otherwise the location was fantastic. "
