"Great experience, quick responses, easy directions. The Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We loved sitting at the beach at night and used the hot tub twice in the evenings. The fact it was open after 10pm was awesome. Accommodations in the room were exactly what we needed. The only issue was the a/c wasn’t working well, however we were not in the room enough to need it. "Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper,...

"We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!"
