"This was falsely advertised by Expedia. No beach access. Only 1 available restaurant. Food was horrible. Staff was angry and mean to most guests. Room was only cleaned twice all week. No activities as advertised. No lobby bar. No gym. Smelled like rotten eggs and dead fish. And no transportation all taxis and very highly priced to go anywhere."

"The Buccaneer is an old cattle ranch / sugar plantation converted into a beach/ golf resort. A beautiful setting. I prepaid for a room over a three day stay. At check-in, "Ben" said incidental room charges were $75 per day which would have been $225 on my debit card. I checked my account an hour later. My debit card was charged $2,000 for incidental room/ resort charges! What a shock! The room my wife and I stayed in had no hot water two days in a row ( cold showers ). Only on the third day...

The bed is actually a queen The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. The cable went out and never came back on, the light on the balcony didn't work, the coffee machine was clogged and blew hot coffee throughout the room, and the hair dryer actually blew up...
