"Funky little place, but clean and spacious. Nice big tv, and a WONDERFUL King sized bed. We were exhausted on arrival, slept like babies for 11 hours. As cheap as you're going to find around here, and each room is a separate little cottage, so it was Very Quiet."

"The Forrest Cottage is the perfect place to stay in Big Sur! A cozy cabin situated in the woods, the place feels very private and has private hiking trails to a beautiful view of the rolling hills and ocean as well as a Redwood grove by a stream. It is also a great location for exploring Big Sur and the many state parks in this region. "

"This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and loved it all over again. This is a great choice for travelers who are out all day/evening, and those who like to stay put. The drive to the house is beautiful, the bed is extra comfy, and the view is unbeatable - especially the stars from the hot tub! Safe, quiet neighborhood too! "

"The Robins nest is the most cozy cottage tucked away in carmel by the sea. Close enough to shops but far enough not to hear the car and foot traffic noise. We had a great rime away from home. Thank you so much!"

The home had a wonderful historical background, the beach that lay beyond the yard was enchanting and the house itself was amazingly well supplied.That we could bring our dog was just the icing on the cake.
