"We stay at this guest house at least yearly and it never disappoints. The host is very thoughtful and has made sure everything is available for your stay. The Keurig coffee machine even has a “shot” size that is perfect for a packet of instant oatmeal. The location is quiet with great onsite parking and is centrally located so it’s easy to get to any of the Monterey Bay area attractions. Seaside has grown and there are excellent restaurants and brewery in town."

"My wife and I stayed here the weekend of our wedding. The suite was spotless and so comfortable. It really felt like a nice home we would live in ourselves. There were plenty of amenities- from cheese boards to luxurious blankets! Due to the large windows, vaulted ceilings (which had beautiful, exposed wood beams) and minimal design, the suite felt very spacious. The view from the suite is gorgeous because it's located on a hill. This breathtaking view made it very relaxing! Also gave this place...

"Check in extremely easy and host was willing to let check in early. Property is exactly as described (no living room). Perfect stay for the person that does not want to be in the room outside of sleeping, eating, and bathing. There was outdoor furniture however, it rained most days that I was there, so it was not able to sit and relax outside of bedroom."

"Love it here. Although you don’t have the option for ocean front view you do have a partial view and everything else makes up for it. The lounge area with prime ocean views is quaint, comfy, and perfect for snacks, a cocktail, or to relax. Mornings you’re greeted with picnic basket with pastries and hot coffee and mimosas. Beds are comfortable and all the Aesop bath products are lovely. Definitely coming back!"

"Bed was comfort!ble. It was a little hard to find but once we did everyt&ing was smooth sailing. Bringing our wash cloths and hand towels was good."

"We had a great time, we will stay again. Tina at the front desk very informed and helpful. Hotel is very close to the downtown area and very walkable. You will need to stay in communication for check-in to ensure they are available you help you. They do have a after hours lock box to be able to access your room. We did not need but it was communicated to us the morning of check-in."

"Excellente location right in the hearth of Carmel -walkers paradise-, the Dolores Cottage 1, is very well equiped with a full kitchen, chimney, 1 and a half bathrooms, and parking. "

"Great! Just wish the office was open while we were there. And that there wasn’t so much highway noise."

"Room was clean, roomy, more than adequate for 4 people, our 2 boys shared the king bed in the front room. The smaller private room has a full closet, queen bed and cable tv on a big screen. Mini-fridge was actually cold!! All the beds were comfortable and you cannot beat the location, we walked to the boardwalk and wharf daily! Indoor heated pool and spa! Nice place, quiet and in the best location for tourists activities. We would stay again."
