"Grosses Resort mit vielen Besuchern. Frühstück sehr laut und mit Buffet. Restaurants moderat kindertauglich. Der Pool war geheizt (30 Grad), aber bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. In unserem Apartment hat es etwas gemüffelt. Keine Kochmöglichkeit, lediglich Mikrowelle und Backofen vorhanden. Guter Fussweg ins Zentrum (ca 15 Minuten)."

"I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

"The bedroom smelt like mould, the wallpapers had mould all over them. The window had so much mould on it and I asked if member of Staff could open the bedroom window little bit more but he couldn’t as he was the only person working at the time. The cold tap in the bathroom doesn’t work and not nice to use hot water to brush your teeth with. The bathroom also had mould everywhere and me, my partner went to order the food where we was staying and told us that the kitchen was closed and didn’t...

"Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Das Hotel hätte sehr viel Potential. Ist wunderschön gelegen und hat charme. Leider ist es wirklich in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt dadurch teilweise etwas ungepflegt. Am Morgen um 8 Uhr stand unangekündigt jemand vor unserem Fenster und hat die Fenster geputzt. Ein doch eher unangenehmes erwachen. Ansonsten ist das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit."

"Gorgeous location overlooking the sea and across road from sea. Peole snorkeling About 15 mins walk from the centre. Lovely quaint rooms and nice tea and coffee. Very safe area. But note if you are back after ten you have to take you key with heavy tag on or wait for ages for someone to let you in"

Room spacious but beds a bit lumpy. Was a bit noisy and difficult to get our child to sleep but to be expected above a pub. Good location for onward travel to the Isles of Scilly."
