"On the plus sides: The property is fun and ecclectic. I would say not for small children as there are wooden and woven giraffes, lamas, masks etc. that would likely attract attention Good location, easy walk to restaurants. Fells safe. Clean. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Plenty of books and games. Easy parking. Erin is very responsive.Negatives: mattress a bit soft but that's personal preference. A bit dark. I *believe * windows are covered with film [makes sence, floor level] ...

"Getting checkin directions required us to call VRBO to get the host’s phone number. The host never made contact other than the single texted instructions initiated by us (frantically, bc we couldn’t confirm if we had a place to stay for a week over Xmas!). Zero contact or response via VRBO. You can hear every footstep and conversation upstairs. And we know the tenants were trying to be quiet because we met them. Would not recommend. Passenger exit from car is on the mud."

"My siblings and I stayed in this classic North Berkeley home for the weekend at the end of a Bay Area vacation. It is a quiet location with spacious living room/dining room area. The mattresses were comfortable. The house is convenient to shops and restaurants on Solano Avenue and the Berkeley Rose Garden. The street map provided by the owner was very helpful."
