"Riverview Cottage is a well maintained, cozy, and well-equipped cottage. We spent a week here and couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The separate washer and dryer made it easy to catch up with the laundry after a bit of traveling. Located 5 minutes from the Calanais Standing Stones, the cottage is conveniently located to other attractions on the west coast of Harris. "We couldn’t have asked for a better location, perfect for walking to local restaurants and shops, and a great home base for exploring all of the Isle of Lewis and Harris. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We can't recommend this place highly enough!"

"Stunning location, nothing but peace and tranquility. Very comfortable accommodation, very well equipped, and very friendly hosts. The fresh flowers and bottle of wine were an extra special touch. Seeing otters in the loch from the kitchen window was truly amazing."

"The house overlooks Loch Erisort in a beautiful, quiet setting. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with a better equipped kitchen than is found in many rental properties. We found it a good location for visiting Stornoway, the west coast of Lewis, and Harris. The local area to the south and east is also worth exploring. We had a meal at the local hotel which was pleasant, but, we thought pretty expensive, so wouldn’t really recommend that. "
