"The hotel looked very nice but was not actually very clean according to the dirt build up on my feet from just walking around the room briefly. Also, while the bed was comfortable they did not have sheets that fit it. When I asked housekeeping they apparently did not understand and simply remade the bed the same way. I loved the fact that it was close to Yankee Stadium as I was in town for a game but the area was pretty sketch. Also, its close to the subway so you could get pretty much anywhere...

"Honestly I did not enjoy my stay at the Wheeler hotel. The whole place smells like smoke, every where including the hotel rooms. My room did not have toilet tissue, no soaps, and not enough towels. I have to go ask for them. Not good for non smoking person like me and I can't recommend family and friends"

"Limited parking due to many cars being parked. There was a Hostile motorcycle driver who was there in his orange/red bike offering women ecstasy and to stay with him in exchange for the parking spot. There is no security on site. Small Towels provided. They have very thin walls, you can hear everything that the next room are doing or talking about. The curtains dont fully close to blackout the room."

"This is my second night reserving another night for a double bed room, my sister and her husband came to visit from Long Island NY, & stayed the night. They refused to switch my room from a single room to a double bed room, TWICE. Front desk claimed they’re weren’t any double bed rooms available, but have that as a choice on their website. Refused to refund me for both nights and im still in a single bed room."

"I liked everything about the room except for the fact that there was only one chair in the room. For 2 people, it was impossible to sit together in the living area so I requested another chair but was told for security reasons that won’t be allowed. We had to sit on the bed to drink our coffee and sometimes eat our late night meals. Absolutely not okay ……"

"Great location. Room was small but well designed with lots of handy features. Super comfy bed! Hotel was spotless, gym was great, staff were friendly & helpful. Small on site bar was cute too. Could not fault a thing about the place. Would definitely stay again & recommend. Loved it!"
