"Not the best of views,as in the centre of the hotel. Right above dining room and bar, quite noisy at times, with kitchen extractor unit fastened to our bedroom wall running till late at night and from 5am, in the morning. Lack of plug sockets in the room. Asked for an extension lead,as I use a CPAP machine. The reception staff knew straight away and were very forthcoming with one. Paid £142 for a nights stay including full English breakfast. Which I thought was pretty reasonable in comparison....

"You can’t beat the location for the price that we paid! That being said there is no AC, just a fan so it will be hot in the summer. Also we faced the back and the bar behind us was loud until at least 2300, 2/3 nights we stayed as we needed the window open for the breeze. Staff were all friendly and lovely and you can walk to anything you need in Harrogate."

"Really easy to get to from the Station. Welcoming staff. Personally found the room really dark, particularly the bathroom area. I'm sure that's just a personal view and some people will like it. Also found the music too loud in the bar area so I couldn't concentrate when trying to work. "

"Good location but we had to ask for a room clean due to the black hair in the bathroom and over the carpet in the bedroom. The bathroom door didn't fully close. We kept the curtains closed as there was a balconey opposite that looked in, and when someone walked overhead the floor creaked- a lot (age of property) Where the hotel shines are the reception, bar and (especially) the breakfast and restaurant staff.
