"The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. This was primarily because the moment we arrived at the place we discovered the pets weren’t allowed anywhere beyond the ground floor and, if they were “well behaved” into the kitchen area. This accommodation can only be described as pet tolerant and not pet friendly."

"Found parking with ease. Access to house was via key safe. Front door a little stiff but fine. House was very comfy and well equipped. Although a toilet brush would have been preferred. On the surface was clean ish. Kitchen cupboard doors, doors and windows needed cleaning. Cobwebs everywhere! Towels and bedding was clean.
