"A wonderful boutiquey type hotel right in the centre of all the Laneway action. It’s in a great location, near lots of cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as all the touristy things like theatres and markets. The staff are wonderful, the rooms also (we had a Capitol room which was spacious) and their cafe also great. Definitely recommend and will stay again for sure."

I had one meal in the restaurant, a chicken caeser salad, which was very good. But considering the cost of the stay, I expected the accommodations to be slightly better. "We booked through expedia and when we went to check in we were told that our booking was for a standard king room and not the double/twin king room we paid for. We ended up getting back reward credit from expedia but it still worked out that we overpaid for the room. Everything felt like an up sale. Want to check in earlier thats $50, want both your rooms in the same floor that would be $30 per room per night. Want the double/twin king room that we paid for but expedia/crown wrongly booked...

"The room and the bathroom smelt musty. The carpets had huge stains. The mini fridge didn’t cool well."
