"Room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, modern but in keeping with the age and style of the building. Breakfast was fantastic, with a really nice menu to choose from. All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting Soutsea and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend paying the extra for a parking bay at the front of the hotel as street parking could be tricky. We stayed to visit family in Southsea and will definitely use this hotel again!"

"Very clean, comfortable, historic hotel. Staff and service second to none. I enjoyed my soak in the roll top bath. It is in a very busy restaurant/nightclub area with music from the neighbouring venues audible until early hours at the weekend but not overly intrusive. We would definitely stay again. "
