"What a great hotel. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and really helpful sorting parking and making up a pullout bed. The major benefit of this hotel is the great communal area that has a pool table air hockey table tennis, and a kitchen and bar area where you can bring your own food and drinks Which was great for our 2 teenagers. The rooms were lovely, really clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again"

"Second visit and the hotel coverall was very good. However, the weather was very warm and so was the room with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the windows could only be partly opened due to security cables. Only a duvet was provided but far too warm for use. A sheet would have been good but not provided. A fan was provided but not that useful. So overall sleep difficult. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant. Quality meat we got to enjoy breakfast outside twice as the weather was...

"Room was not your bog standard decor but was unique, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with an excrllet shower. The staff were polite and would acknowledge you even if you were just passing. Kim who was on reception when we arrived was a standard bearer for the hotel group, she was very welcoming and went above and beyond when we required some direction assistance."

"Hotel opened this week but was far from being ready. No WiFi and no breakfast facility. Room was on 4th floor with no elevator. No air conditioning and impossible to open the window more than a few centimeters. Cheap material and tiny bathroom. It is a real shame it is listed as 4;stars but no indication given of the real state. "

"Loved our stay here, sad it was only for one night. The staff that checked us in was very friendly and very welcoming. Next day for breakfast the staff, I didn’t catch her name, very lovely too.
