"From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

There was a reasonable selection of breakfast items. Unfortunately we ended up with an interconnecting room, so despite the hotel being advertised as having sound proof rooms, it really wasn’t. "We didn't have breakfast. The room was clean and beds comfy, but the shower was very weak and kept falling forward so difficult to use. The pool is warm and usually nice but a large group of teenagers took over the pool and we had to leave as my daughter became anxious. Previously we have enjoyed the pool."

"We were not able to have breakfast at the allotted time as we had to be out at an event. However they were kind enough to leave us bacon sandwiches outside our room so we had something to eat"

"The view from the room was terrible. It was a concrete square with tyres. The furniture was plasticky. For the price really wasn’t worth it on top of that our sleep was disrupted by people fighting and the police being called. I wish I booked the Holiday Inn."

"Mid week overnight stay. We had the golf view. Used the pool, outdoor hot tub and sauna. Had evening meal which was lovely and reasonable price. Buffet style breakfast. Staff friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend and hope to return. "

"Great location less than a mile away from the M5 and off the main road. Wonderful guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy. We decided to go into nearby Thornbury to grab something to eat. The bed was really comfy and we had our buffet breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel which kept us full for the drive home."
