"The property/inn was adequate for what we needed. The room was clean and we felt safe. The virtual check in kiosk was cumbersome to use and I missed having staff to assist. The ice machine was either empty or not working. The hallway had a broken kid’s necklace on the floor that was there the entire time we were there so I know it wasn’t vacuumed. And unfortunately police were present for problems in the parking lot three times which left uncomfortable. For the price I expected more."

"The property was beautiful! The room was updated and the bed was comfortable. The floors creaked at night when the people in the room above us came in late but that was the only issue. They only had a very light continental breakfast and no hot items but there was a good variety and some delightful Danish. We ate there one morning and chose to eat out the next morning for a full breakfast. Very nice and very friendly service!"

"I stayed there twice within 2 weeks. First visit the room I booked was unavailable. No reason. The room I was put in the regular air conditioning didn't work. They had a (non-window) portable AC unit on the floor. It was very noisy. Room had coffee amenities but no coffee maker. That took 4 hours and 3 tries to get one. Microwave didn't work; requested one, never got it. Despite all that I booked 2 weeks later because I needed the airport shuttle early the next morning. It wasn't until I was...

"I should have read reviews. We couldn’t get past the front door. It looks like this is truly a half way house. People are literally living here. Homeless and seedy looking people hanging outside the main entrance. We don’t even check in because it was truly gross."

"Staff was friendly, parking was easy, and the room was clean and cool thanks to the AC. Other than that though, there wasn't much to this hotel. No patio or outdoor area to sit and relax, no restaurant, and the lobby area was small and not very inviting. The bathroom really needs shades, the sun was coming in hot and bright first thing in the morning in our east facing room."

"Setting was pleasant. Some confusion at check-in as I was registered for Whispering Winds and thought I was at Skaneateles Inn. The office at WW was never open. The lock on my door did not seem very secure. There was a chain on the wall, but no place on the door to attach it."
